The Monastiri is located on a hill in the east coast, at the coastal road after Askeli and Sirene Hotel. Right under it is a quiet and organised beach with crystal clear water, under the omonymous Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, next to a pine forest.
The area offers water sports and snorkeling. Also available in the area are sunbeds, umbrellas and a canteen where you can have a snack, ice cream or drink your coffee, soft drinks, spirits, wine, ouzo and beer.
To the Monastery location, right above the sea you will find the hotel complex "Sirene Blue Resort", a few minutes from the Monastery. It is a very beautiful hotel, built at the slope of the hill, and reaches to the sea.
The Monastiri has continuous bus, taxi and boat routes to downtown Poros.
